We have discovered that some Meridian Hi-Fi owners have been using Powerdrive brackets to support Meridian's DSP 33 Digital Active Loudspeakers.

Although Meridian note that “The DSP33 is heavy for its size”, compared to others speakers we support from the sound-reinforcement sector they are positively light-weight! As such, users have access to many Powerdrive brackets: from the diminutive wall-mounted WME 75 to the larger WHH 75 or the ceiling mounted CMFB 75 through to our flagship ZD 75.

Congress Center of ThyssenKrupp Steel AG

H-I-Q Deutschland GmbH, an EAW wholesaler in Duisburg (Germany), recently delivered the material for installation of six EAW commercial VR21 for the new sound reinforcement system in Hall 7 of the Congress Center of ThyssenKrupp Steel AG in Duisburg.

The installation required the EAW VR21's to be mounted off the building’s girder structure at a height of 5 meters above the floor.

H-I-Q used a combination of six Powerdrive GDR 1-200 girder brackets - to provide a secure attachment to the girder - from which ZA 120 drop tube brackets were fitted to position the speaker approximately 0.5M below.
